Email Search

Email Search

The Email Search page is a powerful tool that allows you to search through all of an associate's emails, including sent emails, which are not always visible in the sending or kiosk Microsoft Outlook account. This feature is particularly helpful when you need to quickly investigate or find specific emails.

How to Use Email Search

  1. Navigate to the Email Search page in the application.
  2. Select the associate whose emails you want to search from the dropdown menu.
  3. Enter your search query in the search bar. You can search for specific keywords, phrases, or email addresses.
  4. Click the "Search" button to initiate the search process.

The system will then loop over all of the selected associate's emails, including both received and sent emails, and return a list of emails that match your search query.

Search Results

The search results will be displayed in a list format, with each email shown as a separate item. The following information will be provided for each email:

  • Subject: The subject line of the email.
  • Sender: The email address of the sender.
  • Recipient(s): The email address(es) of the recipient(s).
  • Date: The date and time the email was sent or received.
  • Snippet: A brief excerpt from the email content that includes the matched search query.

You can click on an email in the search results to view the full content of the email, including any attachments.

Benefits of Email Search

The Email Search feature offers several benefits:

  1. Comprehensive Search: It allows you to search through all of an associate's emails, including sent emails that may not be visible in the Outlook account.
  2. Quick Investigation: You can quickly find and investigate specific emails based on keywords, phrases, or email addresses.
  3. Time-Saving: Instead of manually searching through emails in Outlook, you can use the Email Search page to find the desired emails efficiently.
  4. Accessibility: Non-technical employees can easily use this feature without requiring extensive technical knowledge.

By utilizing the Email Search page, you can streamline your email investigation process and save valuable time in locating specific emails across an associate's entire email history.
