Configuration
There are a few settings that can be adjusted when it comes to drips. All of these are customizable on the Associate database table,
and best found on the Associates page (opens in a new tab).
Auto Drip
- this is a true/false value. If set to true, the app will automatically queue drips (according to this schedule).
Delay Variance
- when we queue blasts, we want to add a little bit of randomness to the sending delay, to make our sending patterns
look more human-like. To do this, the server will pick a random amount of seconds from [-
delay_variancetodelay_variance] that will be added to thesending_delay. So a 30s delay with 10s variance means we could have emails queued between 20s and 40s between each other.
Blocked Cities / States
-
this is how an
Associatecan prevent blasts from going out toPropertiesin a specific city or state. This is checked by doing a case insensitive comparison between aProperty's city and state, and if a match is found, theBlastContactisstopped. -
If there are states that have the same city (e.g. Union City, GA and Union City, NJ), you can block a specific city & state combo by including the state in a blocked city. For example, you could put
Union City, NJas a blocked city.
